Iron Heart's yokeless western CPO shirt, cut from 8oz Japanese whipcord. The origins of whipcord, or “jungle cloth,” are rooted in military apparel—a tightly woven fabric renowned for its durability and windproofing properties. The tough 8oz whipcord used to construct this shirt is woven using long-fibre combed yarns, creating a high-density, lightweight fabric with a smooth feel and silky appearance. As a CPO cut, this shirt offers a little more length in the body than their standard western cut, with oversized copper snap fastenings and additional hand-warmer pockets for versatility. For this model, they’ve chosen to omit the western-style front yokes and include only a straight rear yoke for a military-inspired, utilitarian look.
