Iron Heart 9oz Canvas Type III Jacket - Brown

Iron Heart's modified take on the classic Type III trucker jacket—offering a slightly longer than traditional body, with the addition of side handwarmer pockets—cut from a 9oz plain weave cotton canvas. This particular canvas is woven using ringspun American cotton yarns, which are thicker, stronger and more durable than open-ended yarns commonly used for lower-grade fabrics. This creates a smooth yet rugged weave with more heft than our 7oz “Weather” fabric, while being lighter and more pliable than our stiffer 17oz duck canvas—an ideal weight for a spring/summer jacket. The fabrics yarns are sulphur dyed, allowing the jacket's appearance to gradually fade and evolve with vintage character.

Post construction, Iron Heart washes the completed garment in an aggressive industrial washing machine. This process removes virtually all potential shrinkage. No further shrinkage is expected when washed according to the care guidelines.
