You can expect up to 1" total stretch in the waist once you begin breaking them in.Ā
This is not a color-fast fabric (it is intended to fade), so you can expect that the color will change after wash. RGT recommends hand washing or soaking in cold water, hang dry only. Avoid the spin cycle in a washing machine as this can lead to uneven fading or streaking.
